08-07-2010 - Now taking applications from Volunteers and Services:
Griffith Volunteer Recruitment Service - Tuesday and Friday 10 am - 2 pm 80 Benerembah Street Ph: 02-6962 9160 or 0448 309 913 (Gordon)
We all know how important Volunteers are for the well-being of our community. Volunteers don't always know where to volunteer, or want a change of volunteer positions and organisations often don't have the time to look for volunteers. The service aims to streamline this process, by working as a recruitment service.
This service is for Not-for-Profit organisations only and will match volunteers with services. We have trained coordinators available and are now taking applications from Volunteers and Services. For more information, call the Griffith Neighbourhood House on: 02- 6962 4144.
Please click the relevant link to download the forms -
This is a 'job description' form to be filled out by organisations, to tell us exactly what you needs are, how many volunteers you require and for how long. (One day - to on-going)
Volunteer registration forms can be obtained at the Griffith Neighbourhood House Community Centre. Also available are an "Introduction to Volunteering" document and Volunteers will be given a copy of our Volunteer Handbook.
